About the Cover
Giant Wave by Jamie Cohen
Too bad that this has to be a sad one. I was lucky enough to get to know Jamie Cohen, the artist behind this cover, a few years ago. Jamie was well connected figure in the music industry, but I never really knew him that way. He was introduced to me by Andy Kravitz and we quickly became friends. He passed on a few months ago and we were all crushed.
Without getting too cheesy about it, I think we all have a life’s journey and while we struggle with the present we always look to the future and try to make it beautiful. But what happens when a part of that future is ripped away. I will always ache for the conversations that will never come to be, and feel sadness for the fact that even if I achieve great success my short time friend Jamie will not be there with me.
Jamie’s art was the thread that flowed through all of his life’s stages and accomplishments. The man truly knew where the music was, and I am proud to say that he believed in me.
